Many thanks to all those who attended, supported, and performed in our Harmony Project Celebration Brunch on February 12th. It was a beautiful and inspirational event, and we are proud of how far we’ve come!
And congratulations to our 2017 Honorees!
It’s been released! Check out our music video created by Harmony Project in collaboration with the John Lennon Bus. Music and lyrics composed by Harmony students: Daniel Espinola, Wendy Montejano, Alfredo Ruiz, Hannah Benson, Jeshua Bello, Steven Lopez, Dylan Pfefferle, and Leo Palma.
Check out our 8 superstar students, who spend nine hours this past Tuesday on the John Lennon bus – playing, writing, and recording music. The Lennon Bus, made possible by Yoko Ono, is a non-profit mobile recording studio dedicated to providing students of all ages with free hands-on opportunities to make music and produce video projects. It was a truly once in a lifetime opportunity, and as usual, Harmony Project kids rose to the occasion.
Music video to come soon! In the meantime, check out some media coverage:
Congratulations to all of our students and teachers for a wonderful semester and some fantastic concerts! From performing on stage to a standing room only crowd to playing Christmas carols for assisted living patients, Harmony Project students had a busy end to their semester. We look back at 2016 with pride and gratitude, and look forward to an exciting and music filled new year!
